TCTC will offer classes on eBay

Trumbull Career and Technical Center’s Adult Training Center will offer eight-hour courses on eBay beginning Dec. 7. Students will learn how to sell products safely and effectively on eBay.

The class will also outline how to use other services offered by the popular online auction site. Courses will be Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m.

Group to present financial workshop

The Youngstown Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., will present its 2010 Financial Fortitude Workshop on Dec. 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The seminar, titled “Doing More With Less,” will focus on financial literacy and education, entrepreneurship and home ownership.

Event to focus on women’s career info

The YWCA of Youngstown and Hard Hatted Women will offer a career information session for women Dec. 8 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Newport Library, 3730 Market St.

The event will offer women an orientation to trade and technical careers. Speakers will focus on how to begin a career in industries such as construction, transportation, manufacturing, energy, green technology, information technologies and logistics.

Redbox has installed a new DVD rental kiosk at the Circle K, 1821 Mahoning Ave. Movies rented at this location can be returned at any Redbox location nationwide.

Customers can register their mobile phone at www.redbox.com to receive a free one-night rental on the first Monday of every month.

New users that register online will also receive a free one-night rental code.
