MAHONING COUNTY

Celtic Healthcare offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays at seven locations in Mahoning County for people 60 or older and their spouses, regardless of age. Reservations are required three days in advance, and transportation is available. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Home-delivered meals are also available for seniors homebound due to illness, injury or handicap.

Wednesday, Nov. 24: Steak burger with mushroom sauce on a bun, harvard beets, vegetable medley, Diamond Jim bun, regular or unsweetened apricots and milk.

Thursday, Nov. 25: Closed for Thanksgiving.

Friday, Nov. 26: Closed (extra meal delivered).

Saturday, Nov. 27: Cold cuts on a bun with mustard and mayonnaise, fresh fruit, coleslaw, macaroni salad and milk.

Monday, Nov. 29: Beef stew, buttered rice, lima beans, corn muffin, regular or unsweetened fruited gelatin and milk.

Tuesday, Nov. 30: Chicken patty on a bun, green bean casserole, cauliflower, regular or unsweetened diced pears and milk.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers older people a well-balanced meal and an opportunity to share fellowship weekdays at 12 locations in Trumbull County. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. Any person 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over is eligible to attend. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.25 per meal.
