SENIOR CITIZENS | Meetings, activities announced


Commercial Intertech Retirees will meet at noon Tuesday in the fellowship hall of St. Mark Church on Logan Way with Lou Pizzuto presiding. Reports will be given by Gloria Wielbruda and Robert Shick. Luncheon hosts will be Mervin and Mary White. Illnesses should be reported to Connie DiPiero at 330-788-2340.

Holy Name Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. Nov. 28 in Founders Hall. Agnes Phillips, treasurer, will collect $2 for the attendance fee, $6 for the Christmas party dinner and $4 for 2011 dues. After the meeting birthdays will be acknowledged, there will be raffle drawings, and cards and bingo will be played. Hostesses will be Ethel Cook, Ruth Infante and Ann Smith. No affiliation with the church is required to attend.

Lowellville Senior Citizens will have a Christmas party at 6 p.m. Dec. 4 at Gianna’s Catering Hall. The cost is $15 per person and includes a sit-down Italian dinner, door prizes and entertainment. Public Employees Retirees, Mahoning Chapter 18, will have a Christmas luncheon at noon Dec. 8 at the Saxon Club, 710 Meridian Road, Youngstown. There will be musical entertainment, and the buffet menu will include turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetables, salad, bread, coffee or tea and pumpkin pie. The cost is $9 for members, associate members and guests.
