Mr., Mrs. Klacik celebrate their 60th anniversary

AUSTINTOWN

On Oct. 14, Mr. and Mrs. John J. Klacik of Austintown were honored by their family as they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary during a dinner at Jeremiah Bullfrogs.

Their children and their spouses are Velma and Leonard Glista, John and Maria Klacik and Richard and Terri Klacik, all of Canfield; Rachelle and Gary Sinn of Anaheim, Calif.; and Cheryl and David Bernard of Austintown. There are 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren in the family.

The former Rose Marie Jasecko and Mr. Klacik were united in marriage on Oct. 14, 1950, at Holy Trinity Church in Struthers. They are members of the Golden Agers.

Mrs. Klacik is a homemaker and member of St. Joseph’s Ladies Guild.

Mr. Klacik served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was employed 32 years in janitorial and maintenance with Austintown School System. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus.
