Anniversary dinner party honors Mr. and Mrs. Dietz

YOUNGSTOWN

The family of Mr. and Mrs. Adrian Dietz of Youngstown gathered at Vernon’s Cafe in Niles on Oct. 16 for a dinner party to honor the couple as they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

Hosts for the festivity were their children, Mark (Michele) Dietz, Denise (Robert) Knuff and Danielle (Joe) Hayden, all of Girard, and Teri (Jeff) Greene of Coconut Creek, Fla. There are five grandchildren in the family.

The former Carol Petretic and Mr. Dietz were united in marriage on Oct. 22, 1960, at St. Joseph Church. They are members of St. Edward Church.

Mrs. Dietz retired in 2004 from First National Bank, where she was a bank teller. She is a member of a monthly ladies card club.

Mr. Dietz was employed in maintenance 34 years at Aeroquip and retired in 1999 from Truck World Mall. He is a member of a golf league.
