55th anniversary is celebrated by the Spagnolas

Mr. and Mrs. John Spagnola of Poland celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on Oct. 22.
Mr. Spagnola and this wife, the former Phyllis Lewis, were united in marriage Oct. 22, 1955, at Immaculate Conception Church in Youngstown. They are members of St. Nicholas Church, also in Youngstown.
Mr. Spagnola retired from Sears Roebuck and Co., where he was an associate manager. He served four years aboard the USS Hornet when he was in the United States Navy. Mrs. Spagnola is a homemaker.
The couple are the parents of Cynthia (Mark) Long and Patricia Craft, both of Poland, Joanne (Ron) Fisher of Struthers, and Diane Spagnola of Canfield. There are seven grandchildren and twin great-grandsons in the family.
