Waters’ House ethics trial postponed

WASHINGTON

The House ethics trial of Rep. Maxine Waters was postponed Friday after investigators discovered an e-mail that could affect charges that she improperly tried to help a bank in which her husband owns stock.

The e-mail, obtained by The Associated Press, is inconclusive on whether Waters, D-Calif., was trying to get favored treatment for OneUnited Bank.
