Superman tree

CLEVELAND

A group promoting Cleveland as Superman’s birthplace will put up a Christmas tree decorated with Superman action figures and other memorabilia at Hopkins International Airport.

High school classmates Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster came up with the idea for the superhero at the Siegel family’s Cleveland home in 1933.
