Sean Baker honored as MAC Player of The Week

Sean Baker was named the Mid-American Conference West Division Defensive player of the week for his performance in the Ball State football team’s 20-3 win at Buffalo.

Baker, a junior safety and graduate of Canfield High, intercepted two passes and returned a fumble 26 yards for a touchdown.

With his first interception in the first quarter, Baker became Ball State’s career interceptions leader and his second interception was his sixth of the season and 16th of his career.

Baker forced a fumble and recovered the loose ball and ran 26 yards for the score to become the first player in Ball State history to return two fumbles for touchdowns in a career.
