Oakland holding auditions for play

YOUNGSTOWN

The Oakland Center for the Arts, 220 W. Boardman St., will hold auditions for “Death Defying Acts” at 6 p.m. Sunday and Monday.

“Death” is three one-act plays that center around comedic encounters with death. “Central Park West” by Woody Allen and “Hotline” by Elaine May will be directed by Tom Smith. “The Interview” by David Mamet will be directed by Denise Glinatsis Bayer. Performances will be Fridays and Saturdays, Jan. 28 to Feb. 4.

Needed are up to 12 men and women age 18 and up.
