WEDNESDAY

Boar’s Head Ladies of St. John’s Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., Youngstown, will sponsor a chicken dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at the church. The menu will include salad, mashed potatoes and gravy, bread and butter, pie and beverage. Cost is $6.50, and containers will be provided for takeout orders. No reservations are necessary. THURSDAY

Woodworth Church of the Brethren, 30 E. Western Reserve Road, Poland, will have a takeout meatloaf dinner from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Meals include scalloped potatoes, green beans and a cookie. The cost is $6. Drive to the back door to pick up meals. To place an order call 330-501-2104.

FRIDAY

Heartland Christian School Senior Class will host an all-you-can eat spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. in the dining commons. The menu includes tossed salad or applesauce, rolls, dessert and beverage. A donation will be accepted. Carryouts will be available. There will also be a white elephant silent auction. Holy Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will sell potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. Orders will be taken from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday and from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at 330-755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Orders may be picked up from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday. Containers will be provided.

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. The cost is $9 for adults and $4.50 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 330-792-1005. There will be no sales on Nov. 26.

Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., Youngstown, will sell potato and potato with kraut pirogi for $5 a dozen. Orders should be placed from 8 to 11 a.m. Thursday and 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at 330-746-9528 and are to be picked up between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Friday. Advance sales only. Lunches will be available beginning at 11 a.m. Friday.

St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell, will sell potato, prune and kraut pirogi. Cost is $4.50 a dozen. Phone orders may be made beginning at 8 a.m. at 330-755-1316, and orders can be picked up beginning at noon. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers. No walk-in orders will be available. There will be no sales on Nov. 26.

St. Luke Church, 5235 South Ave., Boardman, will bake Italian-style red and white pizza. Phone orders will be accepted at 330-788-0025 between 9-11:30 a.m. only. Pickup will be until 12:30 p.m. Price is $6 for regular or Brier Hill pizza, and $5 for white pizza.

St. Paul the Apostle Church, 10143 Main Street, New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi. Orders can be called to 330-542-3525 from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. There will be no sales Thanksgiving week. Sales resume Dec. 3.

St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, will sell potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi. The cost is $5 a dozen. Advance orders will be taken at 330-747-3024 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and 8 to 11 Friday, based upon availability. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers and use the side entrance. No sales Thanksgiving week.

SATURDAY

Braceville United Methodist Church, 577 Park Road SW, Newton Falls, will have a stuffed pork chop dinner from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Meals include mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, coleslaw, applesauce, desserts, bread, and coffee, tea or punch. Brookfield United Methodist Church, 6951 Grove St., will have an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Cost is $7 for adults and $3 for children 6 to 12. Takeouts will be available. Deerfield American Legion Post 713, 1517 state Route 14, will serve a breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. at the post home. Cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children. The menu consists of pancakes, sausage, eggs, sausage gravy over biscuits and a beverage. Proceeds will benefit the American Legion scholarship fund.

Southington American Legion Post 751 will serve Swiss steak dinners with mashed potatoes, gravy, coleslaw, vegetable, applesauce, beverages and dessert from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the post, 3145 Warren-Burton Road, Southington. The cost is $7.50 for adults and $4 for children under 12. Those 4 and under eat free. Takeouts available.

SUNDAY

Fowler Volunteer Fire Department will have its monthly pancake, sausage, egg and fruit cup breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the fire station, state Route 193. Prices are $6 for adults, $4 for senior citizens and children 6 to 12 and free for preschoolers.

VFW Triangle Post 2799 Auxiliary, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield, will serve breakfasts of eggs, sausage or ham, hash browns, pancakes, freedom toast, toast, and coffee or tea from 8 a.m. to noon. Meals are $5 for adults and $3 for children under 12.

Youngstown Saxon Club, 710 S. Meridian Road, will serve pork and kraut dinners from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Meals include dessert and beverage, and takeouts will be available. The cost is $8.50 for adults and $5 for children. This is the final pork dinner of the season.

TUESDAY

Fairhaven School, 420 Lincoln Way, Niles, will serve cavatelli dinners in the cafeteria from 4 to 7 p.m. Meals are $5 and include meatball, salad, bread, cake, and coffee or tea. For takeouts call 330-652-5811.

Gibson Heights Second Presbyterian Church, 755 E. Dewey Ave., and St. James A.M.E. Church, 93 E. Myrtle Ave., Youngstown, will have a takeout soup sale Nov. 28.
