FLU SHOTS Where to get one


Flu-shot clinics will take place in these locations this week in Mahoning County:

Youngstown: Youngstown YMCA, 17 N. Champion St. H1N1 (swine flu) vaccine distributed free by the Youngstown General Duty Nurses Association from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today or until the vaccine is gone. The nurses are employed at Forum Health Northside Medical Center.

Boardman: Clear Channel Radio, 7461 South Ave. The Mahoning County District Board of Health will give shots from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday. The shots available are for anyone 6 months of age and older. The cost is $25. The high-dose flu vaccine also is available for individuals 65 years of age and older. No appointment is necessary. People on traditional Medicare must bring their Medicare card so the cost of the shot can be billed. People on Medicaid need to bring their Medicaid card.
