Gregory Franklin Blasko and his bride, the former Christa Michele Thomas, honeymooned at a resort in the Poconos after their 2 p.m. Sept. 25 wedding at St. Christine Church.

The Rev. Gregory Salomone officiated as the couple exchanged nuptial vows.

A reception later that day at St. Mary Assumption Social Center honored the daughter of Gene and Val Thomas of Carmel, Ind., and son of Mike and Rita Blasko of Boardman.

The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management and is the marketing director at the Eastwood Mall Complex in Niles.

The groom is the foreman at Simon Roofing in Boardman.

Beading adorned the bodice of the bride’s strapless white gown. It featured a full tulle skirt and a sweep train.

Jessica Warner was the bride’s honor attendant, and bridesmaids were Meghan O’Shaughnessy, Erin O’Shaughnessy and Tricia Smart, cousins of the bride; Molly Blasko, Alison Gunderson and Theresa Blasko, the groom’s sisters; Jennifer Lonsway; Megan Koniowsky; Meghan Blasi; and Ashley Parry; and junior bridesmaid was the bride’s cousin Kylie Bokesch. Flower girl was the groom’s niece, Harper Dunn.

The duties of best man were performed by Michael Blasko, the groom’s brother, and groomsmen were Scott Blasko, his brother; Michael Thomas and Craig Beaudis, the bride’s cousins; Kenny Brown; Jack Gibson and Josh Dunn, the groom’s brothers-in-law; Robert Cerimele; Brent Maimone; Dominic Blasi; and Patrick Sipusic. Junior groomsmen were the groom’s nephews, Jack Gibson and Brady Dunn., and ring bearer was the bride’s cousin, Casey Bokesch.
