Most of the leaves have fallen. The nights are colder.

Frost covers our lawns in the morning but slowly retreats as the sun struggles more each day to remove the morning chill.

This is November in the Mahoning Valley.

And though many think of this pre-winter season as a bleak and bleary time of year, there is just as much beauty around you if you just take the time to look for it.

The brilliant colors of a fall sunset are hard to beat, yet the intricate designs in the frost that covers the leaves and grass are quite a sight to behold if examined closely.

And though the long shadows of fall are here, with winter to follow, it is just a matter of time before the buds of spring will be blooming again.SClB
