YSU men's hoop squad battles Buffalo tonight

YOUNGSTOWN — The Penguins play Buffalo (1-0) tonight, a Mid-American Conference team known for its physical play.

“They’re your traditional MAC team,” said coach Jerry Slocum. “They’re very, very physical. They hold. They clutch. They try to knock you off your feet.

“We’ve got to be ready for it. It’s not the way the Horizon League plays. It’s not the way the Horizon League officiates.”
