Hoovers mark 61st anniversary on Nevada trip

CANFIELD

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Hoover of Canfield celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary in Nevada. The trip was an anniversary gift from their children, Debby (Michael) Orosz of Salem and Patty Bates of Canfield.

The couple have four grandchildren, Mickey Orosz, Allison Orosz, Joey Bates and Robert Bates.

The former Patricia Connolly and Donald Hoover were married Sept. 24, 1949, in Youngstown. They are longtime members of Zion Lutheran Church.

Together, the Hoovers built the family-owned business, Hoover Concessions, more than 50 years ago. They have continued to be active in many aspects of the enterprise.
