Giangiulis’ 50th celebrated at surprise party

Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Giangiuli
in Sharon, Pa., was the setting at 7 p.m. Oct. 29 for a surprise dinner party at which Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Giangiuli of Hubbard were honored as they celebrated 50 years of marriage.
Invitations for the festivity were issued by the couple’s daughters and sons-in-law, Carla and Robert Smaltz of Twinsburg; Angela Giangiuli of Sharon, and Maria and Aris Kantaras of Boardman. The couple have three grandchildren.
Mr. Giangiuli and the former Raphaeline Piccirillo were united in marriage Oct. 29, 1960, at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Lowellville. They are members of St. Patrick Church.
Mrs. Giangiuli is the president of the Infant of Prague Guild at the church, and retired in 2005 as a demonstrator with Sam’s Club in Niles.
A Korean War veteran, Mr. Giangiuli is a bricklayer with Harper and Houston Construction in Hermitage, Pa.
