Holiday Brunch and Sweet Shoppe feature goodies prepared by Angels

The Angels of Easter Seals will host an annual Holiday Brunch and Sweet Shoppe on Dec. 1 at Antone’s Banquet Center, 8578 Market St., to raise funds to benefit children and adults with disabilities or special needs served by Easter Seals of Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties.

Mimosas will be served at 10:30 a.m. to kick off the event and will be followed by the brunch at 11:30.

Recipes featured in the Angels cookbook will be used to make entr es for the brunch. Recipes in the Angels and Friends Volume 1 and Volume II and Party Favorites will be used to prepare the 30 varieties of homemade cookies, pastries and breads to be sold at the event.

The cookbooks and cookbook baskets will also be sold, and there will be a bucket auction and a 50-50 raffle.

Members of the Angels will model cocktail, casual and holiday attire from Possessions, and 10 percent of all sales of purses, belts, scarves and jewelry will be donated to Angels of Easter Seals.
