MERCER, Pa.

More than 1,400 absentee ballots cast for the Nov. 2 election have been added to the county’s unofficial totals.

The 1,408 absentee ballots increased the county’s turnout to 36,966, or 45.71 percent of total registered voters. Military and overseas civilian absentee ballots were able to be received as late as Nov. 9, as long as they were postmarked by Nov. 1. To view the unofficial totals, go to www.mcc.co.mercer.pa.us.
