Youngstown: The sixth annual Hispanic Veterans Appreciation Dinner is at 6 p.m. today at Organizacion Civica y Cultural Hispana Americana (OCCHA), 3660 Shirley Road. The meal is at 6:30 p.m., and the program is at 7:15 p.m. The speaker is Dr. Quintin Pacheco Morales, who is retired from the National Security Agency and served in the Marine Corps from 1960 to 1964. The cost is $12 per person. Shorty Navarro and Will Pacheco are event co-chairmen.

North Lima: The Beaver Township Veterans Day Commemoration is at 1 p.m. today at Veterans Memorial Park at state Routes 164 and 165. The guest speaker is Jim Olive, coordinator for the Youngstown State University Office of Veterans Affairs.
