Springfield alumni gather at reunion

NEW SPRINGFIELD

Springfield Local Alumni Association had its annual reunion Sept. 26 at New Middletown Free Methodist Community Church.

The Alumni Appreciation Award was given to Dianne Borzick, longtime supporter of student events, a volunteer and a board of education member for two terms.

Elected were Zonda Haase, president; Phyllis Namie, vice president; Betty Huffman, secretary treasurer; and Mary Lyda, historian. The membership approved a scholarship fund for technical schools.
