Oct. 11

Theft/damage: Numerous compact discs, an MP3 player, a CD receiver and a radar detector were stolen from a car, which had damage to its dashboard, in the 1900 block of Lawn Drive.

Oct. 12

Criminal damaging: A vehicle in the 2000 block of Knollwood Avenue had damage to a door and window.

Oct. 14

Breaking and entering: Someone entered a home in the 7600 block of North Lima Road and took a $35 towing drawbar.

Oct. 16

Citation: Police cited a homeowner in the 5700 block of Beechwood Drive for having a noisy dog.

Oct. 17

Arrest: Police took into custody Michael D. Norberg, 28, of 2785 Cunningham Road, Salem, in the 5800 block of Water Street on a theft charge from Boardman. He also was charged with obstructing official business.

Theft: Two chainsaws and two weed trimmers were among items stolen from a residence in the 8300 block of Morningside Drive, for a $2,050 loss.

Theft: Several tools were taken from a shed in the 8300 block of Morningside Drive.

Theft: Michael Norberg, 2785 Cunningham Road, Salem, was picked up in the 5800 block of Water Street on a theft charge. He also was charged with obstructing official business.

Oct. 23

Burglary: To a residence in the 2100 block of Knollwood Drive, from which a laptop computer and digital photographs were stolen.

Oct. 25

Identity theft: A township man, no address listed, reported his debit-card number had been compromised.

Oct. 30

Burglary: Occurred in the 6100 block of Struthers Road through a side door. A total of 35 feet of copper piping was stolen.

Oct. 31

Burglary: To a home in the 1700 block of Read Street through a side window.

Breaking and entering: Someone entered Poland Self Storage, 3190 Center Road, and removed items that included a set of pots and pans, a bed-sheet set, a ceramic dish and a wok, for a $1,070 loss.
