GARDEN CLUBS | This week's meetings announced


MONDAY

Garden Gate will meet at 1 p.m. for a “Sock Snowman” program. Hostess will be Dorothy Shirilla and co-hostess will be Barbara Murray.

TUESDAY

Daisy Dozen will meet at 10:30 a.m. at Michael’s in Boardman for a demonstration on making a spectacular bow. Members can take ribbon, pipe cleaners and scissors, or purchase items at the shop. Afterward there will be lunch at Nicolinni’s on Route 224. Reservations are to be made by calling 330-759-2517 or 330-759-3266.

East will gather at 11:30 a.m. for a luncheon and meeting at hostess Rosemary Baun’s home, 7718 Amberwood Trail, in Boardman.

Trailwood will meet at 11:30 a.m. for a program on “Redesigning Women” Sue Van Zandt, hostess, will be assisted by Mary Jane Becherer and Marilyn Sutton.

WEDNESDAY

St. Michael will meet at 7 p.m. at the parish center with Doe Gallagher presiding. A program on “Redesigning Women” will be presented by Pat Gardner and Karen Humenial, certified staging professionals. Hostesses will be Lucille Zyznar and Geri Bertison. Guests are welcome.

THURSDAY

Coitsville will meet at the Arms Museum. Time to be announced.

Johnny Appleseed will meet for a surprise program by Robin Eisenbrei, hostess. The door prize will be by Jeanne Filmer.

SATURDAY

Sunflower will meet for a “Holiday Decorating” program with Joyce Campbell as hostess.

Garden club events are published Sunday. The deadline is noon Thursday.
