Canfield’s U12 Team wins State Cup

The Canfield Soccer Club’s Girls FC Club U12 Team finished undefeated and untied for the fall YAYSL outdoor season.

They finished 10-0-0 during the regular season out scoring opponents 70-4.

Opponents they defeated were Howland, Warren, Boardman, Poland, Austintown, New Springfield, West Branch, Beaver and Niles.

They went 4-0-0 in the YAYSL Fall Classic Soccer Tournament at the Austintown soccer fields.

The following week the girls participated in the prestigious Bothwell State Cup Tournament, sponsored by the Ohio Youth Soccer Association North at the Diamond Soccer Complex in Plain Township in Canton.

They went 4-0-0 in that venue as well, winning a State Cup Championship.
