Treez Please sets planting, fundraiser for Saturday

A tree planting and fundraiser for a local nonprofit are planned for Saturday.

The planting begins at 4 p.m. in Wick Park, and the Treez Please fundraiser is from 5 to 10 p.m. at First Unitarian Church, 1105 Elm St.

Treez Please is a nonprofit organization that works to increase green space in the city.

The proceeds will be used to fund next year’s internship program.
