Neighborhood Toy Store Day will be at Party On!, 6000 Mahoning Ave., Suite 230, in the Austintown Plaza, from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday. Mill Creek auction

Mill Creek MetroParks will have a public auction Wednesday. The event is from 4 to 6 p.m. at the residential address, 1861 McCollum Road, and will auction off doors, windows, furnaces, appliances, cabinets, light fixtures, curtains and bathroom sets, as well as miscellaneous items.
All the items will be sold as-is and may need repair. Sales are final, and only cash, business check or personal check will be accepted at the time of the sale.
Loose items must be removed by 7 p.m. the day of the auction, and items that have to be uninstalled or removed must be done so between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Nov. 18 or 19.

Get caught recycling

To celebrate America Recycles Day on Monday, the Geauga-Trumbull Solid Waste District staff will randomly visit drop-off sites Saturday through Monday looking for recyclers. Recycled tote bags and other recycled products will be distributed to those who are found recycling.
The Geauga-Trumbull Solid Waste Management District operates 48 recycling drop sites throughout the two counties, collecting steel and aluminum cans, glass bottles and jars, plastic bottles and containers and newspapers, magazines and mixed office paper. Auction of car, lights
MINERAL RIDGE
Weathersfield Township will have a public auction at the administration building, 1451 Prospect St. at 10 a.m. Nov. 27. The township will sell an old police car and another car, which has been used by the police department, and fluorescent lights that were removed from the administration building.
At their meeting this week, trustees also declared the condition of two residential properties a nuisance, ordering the landowners to repair the properties at 1473 Salt Springs Road and 145 Welsh Hill.
