Gina Marie Chance and Jeffrey Kirlik exchanged nuptial vows during a 2 p.m. ceremony as they were united in marriage Oct. 9 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Officiating at the wedding were the Revs. Ken Miller and Steve Popovich.

The couple accepted congratulations during a reception at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church Hall in Youngstown. After a honeymoon in Italy, they live in Canfield.

Parents of the bride are John Terry Chance and Mary Ellen Chance, both of Austintown, and the groom’s parents are John Kirlik of Lowellville and Janice Kirlik of Poland.

The bride’s ivory A-line gown featured a sweetheart neckline and corset back and was enhanced with platinum beading.

Platinum beading also adorned the cranberry-red gowns worn by Katie Wilson, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Debbie Barber and the groom’s sister-in-law Denise Kirlik. Flower girl was Mia Wilson.

James Kirlik performed the duties of best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Tony Chance, the bride’s brother, and Brian Crumbacher. Ring bearer was Tyler Kirlik, the groom’s nephew.

The bride, who will be known as Gina Marie Chance-Kirlik, graduated from the Winner Institute of Arts and Sciences in Transfer, Pa., with a degree in culinary arts. She is a sous chef with the Upstairs Restaurant in Austintown.

The groom is a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 64, and is employed by Geller Electric in Canfield.
