Conservation group to host benefit

BROOKFIELD

Mosquito Creek Chapter of Whitetails Unlimited, a nonprofit conservation organization, will host a fundraising banquet Saturday at Yankee Lake Ballroom on state Route 7 beginning with a social at 5 p.m. and a buffet dinner at 7.

Included in the evening will be silent and live auctions, door prizes, sporting equipment, limited-edition wildlife and outdoor art, and collectibles.

Proceeds from the Hunters Night Out event will be used to promote archery in school programs and to preserve habitat in Trumbull County.

Tickets are $25 with a membership and include dinner, refreshments and beer. Spouses and juniors are welcome.
