‘Spay-ghetti’ dinner planned by dog rescue

For the Dogs Rescue will sponsor a “spay-ghetti” dinner from 4 to 8 p.m. Nov. 20 at the Operating Engineers Hall, 291 McClurg Road. Meals will include meatballs, salad, bread, dessert and beverage. The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under.

In addition there will be a bucket auction, 50-50-raffle, bake sale and Cutest Pet Contest. Entries for the contest will be accepted through Saturday, and participants will be encouraged to stuff the ballot box.

Patrons will also have the opportunity to play blackjack or Chuck-a-Luck.
