North Side woman encounters burglars at her home
YOUNGSTOWN — A 41-year-old North Side woman is recovering from the shock of encountering two burglars in her home.
According to reports, the Goleta Avenue woman came home at 2:30 p.m. Monday to find a gray Chevrolet pickup truck in her driveway. Thinking the truck belonged to her landlord, the woman tried to enter the house, but realized the door had been kicked in.
According to police, the woman found two men inside trying to carry her television out of the house. One of the men, reports said, pinned her against a wall and choked her before running off. The other man ran out the back door.
