Kristen Lee Johngrass and Daniel William Nye were joined in marriage at 1 p.m. Oct. 2 at Sacred Heart Church.

The Rev. Ken Miller officiated for the daughter of Nancy Johngrass of Struthers and Victor and Carol Johngrass of Hillsville, Pa., and son of Joyce Nye of Campbell and Gary and Toni Nye of Palm Coast, Fla.

The bride’s ivory satin gown featured a sweetheart neckline embellished with Swarovski crystals, sequins, bugle beads and seed pearls. The A-line pickup skirt flowed to a chapel train, and she carried a bouquet of leonidas roses and her grandmother’s rosary.

Wearing burnt orange ensembles were the matrons of honor, Kimberly Marantis and Lisa Zimmerman; and the bridesmaids, Amanda Johngrass, the bride’s sister; Sandra Nye, the groom’s sister; Stephanie Dominguez and Nedra Cruz, the bride’s cousins; Melissa Dubos, the groom’s cousin; and Dana Donatelli. Junior bridesmaid was Emily Zimmerman, the bride’s niece, and another niece, Adriana Marantis, was flower girl.

Kevin Nye and Andrew Davis shared duties of best man, and groomsmen were Raymond Zimmerman, the bride’s brother-in-law; Robert O’Hara; Terry Tringhese, the groom’s cousin; and Casey Gordon. Kyle Zimmerman, the bride’s nephew, was junior groomsman, and ring bearer was George Marantis, the bride’s nephew.

Mrs. Nye graduated from Choffin School of Practical Nursing and is a licensed practical nurse.

Her husband is employed by JPI Painting in Poland.

They honeymooned at Disney World and live in Campbell.
