‘A Little Night Music’ on stage

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.

Theatre Westminster will present “A Little Night Music” Thursday through Nov. 14 in Beeghly Theater on the campus of Westminster College.

Based on Ingmar Bergman’s film “Smiles of a Summer Night,” the musical is set in a weekend country house in turn-of-the-century Sweden. Witty and romantic, it brings together surprising liaisons, long-simmering passions, and a taste of love’s endless possibilities. The production is directed by Lester Malizia, former artistic director of Seaside Music Theater in Daytona Beach, Fla.

Curtain times are 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday; and 2:30 p.m. Nov. 14. For reservations, follow the “ticket reserve” link at westminster.edu/drama or call 724-946-7241. Tickets are $15 ($10 for seniors and non-Westminster students).
