CANFIELD

Monique Hammond, a daughter of Michele and William Hammond, and Gary Tomko Jr., a son of Carolyn and Gary Tomko Sr, all of Canfield, were united in marriage by Judge Scott Hunter at 5:15 p.m. Sept. 14.

The ceremony took place in the gazebo in the center of Canfield green, where the couple exchanged vows in the presence of an intimate gathering of family and friends.

The bride is pursuing a bachelor’s degree at Kent State University and is an assistant manager with Burnett Pools in Canfield.

The groom has been attending Youngstown State University and is currently deployed with the U.S. Army National Guard, 292nd Engineering Detachment for Operation New Dawn, in Newton Falls.
