A reception at the Blue Wolf Banquet and Catering Center in Boardman followed the 4:30 p.m. wedding Sept. 11 of Erica Lynn Jenkins and Steven Ross McConnell.

The daughter of Laura Francis of Cortland and son of Marsha and James McConnell of Irondale exchanged vows at New Somerset Christian Church with the Rev. Robert Rowe as officiant.

The bride was wearing an A-line satin gown designed with a square neckline and pickup skirt enhanced with embroidery and beading.

Kelsey Francis, the bride’s sister, and Nina Salen were bridesmaids, and the groom’s niece, Katelyn McConnell, was flower girl. They wore wine-colored gowns.

Groomsmen were Ron Canacci and Steven Strunk, and ring bearer was the bride’s cousin Landon Jenkins.

Seating guests were Matthew and Michael McConnell and Trey and Carson Jenkins.

Mrs. McConnell earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Youngstown State University. She is self-employed.

Her husband holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from YSU and is employed as a systems analyst at Benefit Management Services of Ohio in Warren.
