Warrant: Thomas Cappitti Jr., 35, 3860 Oakley Ave., was arrested on a warrant charging domestic violence in the 5000 block of Mahoning Avenue.
Drug offense: Ryan Bright, 25, 317 Indianola Ave., Boardman, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at Oakwood Avenue and Meridian Road.

Recovered property: A Pennsylvania driver’s license was recovered in the 300 block of South Canfield-Niles Road.
Warrant: William Carroll Jr., 49, 3702 Action St., Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant alleging failure to appear on a traffic charge at Mahoning Avenue at North Meridian Road.
Recovered property: A wallet was recovered on Yorktown Lane.

Disorderly conduct: Katie Glunt, 26, 4843 Westchester Drive, was issued a summons alleging disorderly conduct.
Theft: $7 in change and a bottle of OxyContin were stolen from an auto in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road.
Criminal damaging: A window was damaged by a BB gun at a home in the 5000 block of Radcliffe Avenue.
Recovered property: A girl’s bicycle was recovered at Wedgewood Lanes, 1741 S. Raccoon Road.
Warrant: Andrew Wichert, 25, 351 N. Roanoke Ave., was arrested on a warrant alleging drug abuse.
Drug offense: Paul Wodianka, 40, 15235 Mahoning Ave., Diamond, was issued a summons on a charge of possession of prescription drugs at state Route 46 at New Road.

Identity theft: Charges were made to an account at a home in the 7000 block of Berry Blossom Drive, in Cleveland.
Breaking and entering: 25 to 30 transmissions were stolen at Mike’s Transmission, 202 S. Meridian Road.
Warrant: Police arrested Dylan Samargia, 19, 273 Westminister Ave. on a warrant for theft.
Drug offense: Police arrested Jimmy Perez, Jr, 19, 1657 Thalia Ave., Youngstown on a charge of drug abuse of marijuana.
Drug offense: Police arrested Howard McCreary, 254 S. Main St., on charges of drug abuse of heroin, drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia.

Recovered property: A bag of marijuana was found on the floor at the Austintown Police Department.
Theft: $3,200 in cash was embezzled at the VFW Post 4237, 4150 Mahoning Ave.
Warrant: Police arrested Erica Jenkins,26, 2515 Ohio Ave., Youngstown on a warrant for menacing at Mahoning County Court No.4, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Breaking and entering: Surplus radiators and truck coolers were stolen at Allied Waste Systems, 3870 Hendricks Road.
Telephone harassment: A victim reported receiving calls at their place of employment at the Budapest lounge, 3780 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A cell phone was stolen at Austintown Middle School, 800 S. Raccoon Road.

Assault: A male victim was punched in the head by an unknown male at O’Donold’s, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Breaking and entering: The front door was broken out and money was taken at Papa John’s, 1502 S. Raccoon Road.
Unauthorized use of computer: Passwords were changed in a computer at Austintown Beverage, 4903 Mahoning Ave.
Warrant: Police arrested Stephanie Spitzer,20, 6642 Abbot St. on warrants for failure to appear for a traffic offense and for alleged vandalism.
Criminal damaging: Scratches were made to a vehicle at a home in the 2000 block of Oak Trace Drive.
Theft: A wallet, a laptop and gas were stolen from a vehicle at a home in the 2000 block of Deborah Court.
Oct. 14
Assault: A teacher was assaulted by a student at Austintown Middle School.
Warrant: Police arrested Charles Alexander, 32, 3394 Sandalwood Lane, Youngstown on a charge of alleged menacing.
Theft: A 22-inch television, DVD player and an Ohio State jacket were reported stolen at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.
Theft: A Honda generator was stolen from a home in the 5000 block of Cerni Place.
Telecommunications harassment: Telecommunications harassment was reported at a home in the 1000 block of Howard Ave.
Warrant: Police arrested Robert Paulo, 52, 1961 Ridgelawn Ave., Youngstown on warrants alleging possession or use of cocaine, unlawful possession of a dangerous ordinance, an unexploded M-80 with copper BB’s glued to it, permitting drug abuse, possession or use of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Lost or stolen property: An Apple iPhone 4 was lost or stolen at the Go Go Cabaret, 1616 Clarkins Drive.
Breaking and entering: Entry was gained through the drive-through window and the cash drawer was taken at Inner Circle Pizza, 4520 Mahoning Ave.

Assault: A female was assaulted by a male at a home in the 3000 block of Lake Road.
Burglary: A .45 caliber semi-automatic pistol was stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Mahoning Ave.
Warrant: Police arrested Leighland Johnson,25, 43 E. Auburndale, Youngstown on a warrant for obstructing official business in the 2000 block of N. Redgate Lane.
Recovered property: A key ring to a 1994 Chevrolet van was recovered at St. Elizabeth’s Health Center, 5901 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Justin Stone, 25, 1116 Ohio Ave., McDonald was issued a summons for theft at Walmart.

Attempted breaking and entering: A window was broken out but no entry was gained at Belleria Pizza, 3460 S. Meridian Road.
Theft: Police arrested Carl Henneman, 34, of 131 N. Kimberly Ave., Apt. 64, for theft at Sheetz Gas Station, 5499 Mahoning Ave., for reportedly stealing drinks and a single dose of Benadryl.
Lost or stolen plates: Dealer plates were missing at Austintown Auto Sales, 5275 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Jewelry was stolen from an apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Fraud: Unauthorized purchases were reported at an apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Oct. 19
Fraud: A woman reported that two checks with her name but wrong middle initial were sent to her by a collection agency that had been cashed in Columbus in 2005. The Vassar Drive woman said the signature was not hers and neither was the account.
Recovered property: A cash register drawer was recovered in the front yard of a home 80 block of Evans Avenue.
Theft: Audio tweeters were stolen from a vehicle at a home in the 3000 block of Allendale Avenue.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at a home in the 500 block of South Raccoon Road.
Misuse of credit card: A man is accused of using his girlfriend’s credit card at a home in the 40 block of North Edgehill Avenue.
Theft: A woman is accused of theft at Meridian Arms, 650 S. Meridian Road.

Theft: An air compressor and heater were stolen from a home in the 1000 block of North Turner Road.
Theft: A silver and gold certificate plate was reported stolen from an auto in the 100 block of North Navarre Avenue.
Theft: A company check for $5,168 was stolen at S.P. Logistics, 340 Victoria Road.
Vehicle theft: A 1994 Chevrolet van was stolen at Phoenix House, 850 N. Meridian Road.
Theft: Police charged Marc Chicase, 33, of 4811 Westchester Drive, with theft of eyeliner at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave., and on drug charges.
Robbery: An unidentified male stole an undetermined number of cigarette packs and an undetermined amount of cash after making the teller open her cash register at Shell gas station, 4200 Mahoning Ave.

Disorderly conduct: Police issued a summons to Nicholas Graham, 25, of 4265 Pleasant Valley Lane, Canfield, for disorderly conduct at Speedway, 4401 Kirk Road.
Fraud: A $975 money order was presented to be cashed at Wal-Mart but was determined to be fake.
Fraud: A fake U.S. Treasury check for $3,500 was cashed at Wal-Mart.
Theft: A credit card was reported missing from a woman’s purse at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.
Warrant: Police arrested Terrill McDonald, 20, of Florida, on a warrant for reported theft for stealing $317 of merchandise.

Warrant: Police arrested Linda L. Barnard, 60, of 11 S. Cedar Ave., Niles, on a warrant for contempt of court for a traffic violation.
Theft: A total of $49 in fuel was taken at Country Fair, 1143 N. Niles-Canfield Road.
Criminal damaging: An unidentified object struck a vehicle causing damage at the state Route 11 and Oakcrest Drive bridge.

Warrant: Police arrested Timothy Anderson, 23, of 1405 Gypsy Lane, Niles, on two warrants for failure to appear in court on charges of receiving stolen property.
Breaking and entering: Copper waterlines were cut and taken at a home in the 3000 block of New Road.
Theft: Several items were stolen from an auto at Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.
Burglary: Copper pipe was taken from a vacant home in the 400 block of North Raccoon Road.
Theft: An employee of Siffrin Inc., 25 N. Canfield-Niles Road, was placed on administrative leave and police notified after $800 of a disabled client’s money was withdrawn to pay for furniture that was never purchased.

Warrant: Police arrested John Winwood, 39, of 131 N. Kimberly Ave., on a warrant for failure to appear in court and disorderly conduct.
Auto theft: A 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt was stolen from Enterprise, 4908 Mahoning Ave.
Bad check: A woman is accused of writing a bad check for $500 at Austintown Auto, 5275 Mahoning Ave.
