The American Cancer Society’s Look Good Feel Better program for women of all ages, races and backgrounds who are concerned about their appearance while they undergo cancer treatment, is offered from 10 a.m. to noon Nov. 16 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center Boardman Campus, 8401 Market St. Participants receive a free kit of cosmetics and beauty supplies valued between $250 and $300. The Alzheimer’s Assistance and Referral Network, 4214 Market St., is offering a free, three-part Caregiver Series to help family members better understand the changes that they and their loved ones are experiencing.

Free seminar

Ear, nose and throat physicians, Drs. David Wood and Gabriel Te, are offering a free public seminar on minimally-invasive procedures for treating sinusitis. The event is Nov. 18 at 6:30 p.m. at Edgewood Surgical Hospital, 239 Edgewood Drive. The program includes refreshments, a follow-up question and answer session, and tours of the facility. CPR/AED class

American Red Cross of the Mahoning Valley is offering the Red Cross “CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers” class for health care professionals and rescuers.
The 2-night, 8-hour class is Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 to 10 p.m. at the Red Cross location in Boardman, 8381 Market St., behind Bruno Bros. Restaurant.

Wellness program
HOWLAND
A work-site wellness program, “The Next Step in Changing the Course of Chronic Disease”, is offered from 7:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. on Nov. 17 at Leo’s Ristorant , 7042 E. Market St.
The program, for employers, human resource personnel, work-site wellness teams, nurses, dieticians, health educators and health- care providers, is presented by the American Cancer Society, the Eastern Ohio Area Health Education Center and the Trumbull County Health Department.
