WEDNESDAY

Boar’s Head Ladies of St. John’s Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., Youngstown, will sponsor a chicken dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at the church. The menu will include salad, mashed potatoes and gravy, bread and butter, pie and beverage. Cost is $6.50, and containers will be provided for takeout orders. No reservations are necessary. THURSDAY

St. Michael Orthodox Church, 125 Steel St., Youngstown, will serve a homemade Chinese lunch and supper from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Thursday. This week’s menu will feature soy sauce pork loin and Shanghai chicken. The cost of the meal is $5. No reservations are necessary.

Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield, will host a drive-through and pickup stuffed chicken breast dinner from 4 p.m. until sold out. Meals include mashed potatoes, green beans and a brownie. The cost is $7. No reservations are required.

FRIDAY

Bloomfield Junior High School, Park West Road, North Bloomfield, will sponsor a fish and shrimp dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Fish dinners are $5.50 and shrimp meals are $6.25.

Canfield Lions will sponsor a fish dinner from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at A La Cart Catering, 429 Lisbon St., Canfield. Meals include baked or fried haddock, coleslaw, roll, beverage and dessert, with a choice of french fries, macaroni and cheese, haluski, green beans or pirogi. The cost is $10. Takeouts are available.

First Federated Church, 10786 Mahoning Ave., North Jackson, will serve a turkey dinner from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Meals include dressing, mashed potatoes, vegetable, coleslaw, applesauce, rolls and dessert. Tickets are $9 for adults and $5 for children 5 to 12. Those 4 and under eat free. Also featured will be a bazaar, country store and baked goods. Holy Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will sell potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. Orders will be taken from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday and from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at 330-755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Orders may be picked up from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday. Containers will be provided.

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. The cost is $9 for adults and $4.50 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 330-792-1005.

Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., Youngstown, will sell potato and potato with kraut pirogi for $5 a dozen. Orders should be placed from 8 to 11 a.m. Thursday and 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at 330-746-9528 and are to be picked up between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Friday. Advance sales only. Lunches will be available beginning at 11 a.m. Friday.

St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell, will sell potato, prune and kraut pirogi. Cost is $4.50 a dozen. Phone orders may be made beginning at 8 a.m. at 330-755-1316, and orders can be picked up beginning at noon. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers. No walk-in orders will be available.

St. Luke Church, 5235 South Ave., Boardman, will bake Italian-style red and white pizza. Phone orders will be accepted at 330-788-0025 between 9-11:30 a.m. only. Pickup will be until 12:30 p.m. Price is $6 for regular or Brier Hill pizza, and $5 for white pizza.

St. Paul the Apostle Church, 10143 Main Street, New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi. Orders can be called to 330-542-3525 from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.

St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, will sell potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi Friday. The cost is $5 a dozen. Advance orders will be taken at 330-747-3024 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and 8 to 11 Friday, based upon availability. Lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers and use the side entrance.

Tod Avenue United Methodist Church, 155 Tod Ave. NW, Warren, will sell all-you-can-eat fish dinners from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Meals include deep-fried ocean perch, potatoes, coleslaw, bread, homemade desserts and beverage. The cost is $9 for adults and $3 for children. Meat loaf is also available.

SATURDAY

Antique Tractor Club will sponsor a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. at Ali Baba Grotto, 760 Perkins Jones Road, Bazetta, just off Route 5/82 bypass. Meals include meatballs, salad, dessert and a beverage. Carryout dinners will also be available. Prices are $7 for adults, $4 for children 12 and under, and free for kids under 3.

Berlin Ellsworth Ruritan will serve a Swiss steak supper from 4 to 7 p.m. at Western Reserve High School, 13850 W. Akron-Canton Road, state Route 224, in Berlin Center. The cost of the dinner is $9 in advance and $9.50 at the door. Children 4 to 10 years of age, $4.50; children 3 and under eat free. There will also be a bazaar with the Attic Booth opening at 11 a.m., and the Ye Old Emporium, Candyland, a bake shoppe and a senior citizens booth opening at noon.

Liberty Masonic Complex, 1350 Shannon Road, announces its second annual steak fry from 4 to 7 p.m. The event is open to the public and is sponsored by all the organizations that meet at the complex. Proceeds will be for the building fund. Girard United Against Ruinous Dumping will serve baked chicken breast luncheons from noon to 3 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, South State Street, Girard. St. Patrick Church, 1420 Oak Hill Ave., Youngstown, will have its monthly spaghetti dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the social hall. The dinner includes salad, bread, dessert and a beverage.
