Two men shot in Youngstown Friday

Two people who were shot Friday were still in critical condition Saturday night, Youngstown police said.

No one had been arrested yet in the case.

Marcus Rutledge, 24, of Brookline Avenue, and Kenneth Sharpe, 31, of Fairgreen Avenue were shot at Hubbard Road and Belle Avenue. Police got the call at 10:06 p.m.

Police said two cars were shooting at each other, and 12 shots were heard in the area.

Rutledge drove himself and Sharpe to St. Elizabeth Health Center, the report said. Rutledge was shot in the neck and Sharpe was shot in the hand and left side, the report said.
