55-Plus Club of Mineral Ridge will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Church. Dr. Holly Reinke and Sophie Marin will be guest speakers. A hearing and ear-wax exam will be given. Hostesses will be Helen Lang and Mary Alice Seaborn.

1418 Auxiliary Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Brownstone Court, 50 Struthers-Coitsville Road. John Texter will preside. Birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged, and cards and bingo will be played. Cancellations must be made by Monday to Sandy Redeske at 330-755-5192. Any call after that day won’t be accepted. Ajax Magnethermic Retirees will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Station Square, 4250 Belmont Ave., Liberty. Guests are welcome.

Freetimers, retirees of Youngstown State University, will have a monthly breakfast at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Denny’s on U.S. Route 224 in Boardman. All retirees, spouses and friends are welcome.

Lowellville Senior Citizens will meet at noon Friday in the conference room at Lowellville City Hall with Delores Romeo presiding. A picnic lunch will be provided by Phyllis Nolfi. Mahoning Retired Teachers Association will meet for a social at 5 p.m. June 9 at Antone’s Banquet Center, 8578 Market St., Boardman. Dinner will be at 5:45. A legislative update will be presented by Ken Carano, and MRTA/ORTA issues will be updated by Dr. Bill Nitch. Nonperishable items, magazines and paperback books will be collected. Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club will meet from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played, and Ruby Farkas will give the devotions. Members are reminded to take a sack lunch; coffee and tea will be provided. Guest speakers from the Center for Hearing Care will provide hearing screenings and ear-wax exams at noon. No affiliation with the church is required for participation.
