Flower planters needed in Liberty this week

LIBERTY

Liberty in Bloom needs volunteers. The schedule for planting follows, just bring your planting gloves and a trowel.

Those who have volunteered to take care of a welcome sign can pick up their flowers at their convenience.

WEDNESDAY: 10 a.m. to noon, Township administration building, planting both front and back of building.

THURSDAY: 10 a.m. to noon, meet at the triangle at I-80, park at Fortune Garden restaurant. Plantings also may occur at Churchill Park entrance.

FRIDAY: 10 a.m. to noon, clean out beds if needed and plant. Meet at Logan Way welcome sign.

SATURDAY: 1 to 3 p.m., meet at Logan Swim Club.

SUNDAY: 1 to 3 p.m., Liberty Street and I-80, both sides of the bridge area.
