Brinker-Foster engagement is made known

GIRARD

Announcement is being made of the engagement and upcoming wedding of Jessica Louise Brinker of Girard and Douglas Raymond Foster, also of Girard.

Miss Brinker is a daughter of Daniel and Laureen Brinker of Girard, and the prospective groom is a son of Gary and Josephine Foster, also of Girard.

The couple are planning an open ceremony for 2 p.m. July 17 at St. Rose Church, and invitations will be extended for a reception to take place at the Maronite Center in Youngstown.

The bride-elect graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Saint Mary’s College. She is pursuing a master’s in education in school counseling at Youngstown State University and teaches mathematics in the McDonald Local School District.

Mr. Foster is a graduate of John Carroll University with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He holds a master’s degree in business administration from YSU and is employed as a technologist at DuPont Performance Polymers in Stow.
