Vesely-Muckle wedding set for mid-August

Announcement of the engagement of Katie Vesely of Girard and Brian Muckle of Arlington, Va., is being made by the bride-elect’s parents, Ron and Elaine Vesely of Girard.

Miss Vesely graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She is an administrative assistant for AVI Foodsystems Inc. in Warren.

The prospective groom, son of Jeanene Muckle of Pelham, Ala., and the late Ross Muckle, graduated from Bucknell University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He received his master’s in business administration from Case Western Reserve University and is a senior analyst for BAI Inc. in Alexandria, Va.

The couple will wed during an open ceremony at 2 p.m. Aug. 14 at St. Rose Church. A reception by invitation will take place at Avion on the Water in Canfield.
