Poland softball wins; Boardman, South Range fall

The Poland High girls softball team captured the Division II regional title with a 5-0 win over Navarre Fairless on Saturday to advance to the state final four.

Boardman lost 3-2 to Massillon Perry in a Division I regional final and South Range girls lost to Jeromesville Hillsdale in the Division III final.

Poland will play New Concord John Glenn at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday at Firestone Stadium in Akron.
