CORRECTION

Due to an editing error, the last paragraph was removed on the A1 story Friday on the Biggest Weekend in July. The preceding paragraph dealt with the Tour of the Valley bicycle race that will be July 9, 10 and 11. Here is the final paragraph: “Now in its second year, the tour will try to be more spectator friendly, and will include an event in Mill Creek Park for recreational riders, said Phil Moore of the visitors bureau. Moore said the criterium races that took place last year in the downtown were a sight to behold, with professional riders coming through the streets at 35 mph.”

In addition, the jazz festival featuring jazz fusion band Spyro Gyra, and David Benoit, pianist, composer and producer, will be July 10. The information box on Page A1 had the wrong date.

Candidates running for Mahoning County Democratic Party secretary are Maurina Hanna of Boardman, Beth Stanko of Boardman and John Vivo of Youngstown. A list of secretary candidates on Page A6 in Friday’s edition was incorrect.
