Drew Carey offers ideas for hometown

CLEVELAND

Comedian Drew Carey has offered ideas for economic reform to skeptical leaders in his hometown of Cleveland. The host of “The Price is Right” met with city council members Thursday morning in a freewheeling debate that mostly analyzed the city’s many problems, from its decaying infrastructure to underperforming schools.Last month, Carey argued for less government, more competition, lower taxes and changes to schools in a series of online videos about Cleveland. Some council members defended the city, saying Carey is proposing simplistic solutions to very complex problems.
