ASSOCIATIONS

American Association of University Women, Youngstown Branch, will meet at 10 a.m. June 5 in the gathering room at Park Vista, 1216 Fifth Ave., Youngstown. After the business meeting, there will be installation of officers and announcement of the scholarship winners. Mill Creek Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association will meet at 6 p.m. June 8 at the Blue Wolf, Lockwood Boulevard, Boardman. Elaine Jacobs, associate director of athletics at YSU, will be the guest speaker. Voting will take place on scholarship applications; the scholarship deadline is today. Dinner is $15.50 and includes Italian baked chicken, penne pasta, green beans almondine, salad, beverage and dessert. Reservations are due Tuesday. Poland Center Homemakers will meet from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Poland United Methodist Church. Ellie Rigelsky will serve as hostess for a casserole lunch. Members are asked to take a large-eyed needle and scissors for the plastic craft.

Canfield Republican Women’s Club will meet for its annual picnic and auction at 5 p.m. Thursday in McMahon Hall at the Mahoning County Experimental Farm, state Route 46, across from the Canfield Fairgrounds. Court Bishop James McFadden 1650, Catholic Daughters of the Americas, will have its final meeting of the year at noon Thursday at The Elmton, 584 Fifth St., Struthers. Hostesses will be Joann Reilley and Barbara Rook. After the luncheon, there will be a short business meeting and entertainment. Also, 25- and 50-year pins will be awarded.
