Austintown’s Devyn Coast (third grade), Kaitlyn Vasko (second), Kyleigh McCalpin (first), Sydney Spencer (first) and Alyssa Lofaro (third) represented their school at the Steel Valley Art Teachers Association’s 20th annual Elementary Art Recognition program Art Show Apr. 25.

Other schools participating were Champion Middle School, Arts Excel, East Palestine schools, McKinley Elementary School, Montessori School, Music and Art Lessons For Us All, and Struthers Elementary and Middle schools.

The association is a nonprofit organization that promotes the importance of the arts in education.
