Miss Moran, Mr. Murnane to wed on beach

Announcement is being made of the engagement of Heather Moran and Thomas Murnane, both of Columbus.

The bride-elect, a daughter of Edward and Lydia Moran of Boardman, is an accountant for Defense Finance and Accounting Service in Columbus. She earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting at Ohio State University and a master’s in business administration at Franklin University.

Richard and Jody Murnane of Columbus are parents of the prospective groom, who is a process improvement consultant for DSD Laboratories in Norfolk, Va. He received a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Charleston and a master’s in business administration from Ashland University.

The couple are planning a beach wedding at 6:30 p.m. June 18 in Southern Shores, N.C., where a reception will follow at a private beach house. Invitations will be issued.
