“American Idol” (8 p.m., Fox): Change is in the air as “American Idol” concludes its least scintillating season. Not only will we crown a brand new champ, we’ll say goodbye to departing judge Simon Cowell, who leaves a trail of bitter snark in his wake.
“Criminal Minds” (9 p.m., CBS): We have a Tim Curry sighting on the season finale of “Criminal Minds.” He plays a Los Angeles serial killer who offs his victims during rolling blackouts. Sounds like one very dark hour.

Aguilera postpones her summer tour
PITTSBURGH
Christina Aguilera feels she needs more time to prepare for her upcoming tour, so she has postponed it. A statement from the singer’s rep says the summer tour has been moved to 2011 because she is busy with her debut film, “Burlesque,” and her new album, “Bionic.” The film is due in November, the album on June 8.
The 20-city tour included a Aug. 3 concert at First Niagara Pavilion near Pittsburgh. British singer Leona Lewis was set to open. The statement says with so little time between the album release and tour date she wouldn’t have time to rehearse the show. A new tour will be announced later this year, and ticket refunds are available at the point of purchase.
