Pa. man charged with stealing cattle

LYKENS, Pa. (AP) — There’s a little bit of the Old West in the Keystone State.

A central Pennsylvania man is facing charges he stole cattle from two farmers in Lykens, Dauphin County, about 20 miles north of Harrisburg.

The alleged cattle-rustler is 26-year-old Damien Motter, of Dalmatia. Police say he stole four cows in June 2009.

Motter was charged Monday with two counts each of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. He was charged earlier this year in a similar case in Northumberland County.
